Seasons: The Hiding

THIS. QUOTE. HERE. Wow, when April wrote this, tears literally shot into my eyes. And then she SANG it. Oh LAWD!! This is the foundation of the journey that we've been on. With every new journey, we've resisted The Lord, both intentionally and unintentionally...

Seasons: The Hiding is actually a multifaceted EP. It's not an album, but it plays a role in the full album. Confusing, I know, but you'll get there. We're releasing 1 of the 4 songs on Friday, September 27th. Before the song releases, here's a backstory of what it actually is, the importance of it, and what it means for you:

Part 1 -

Seasons is rooted in Ecclestiastes 3:1-8 (For everything there's a season). All of creation submits to the will of The Lord. Let's take a tree, for instance, due to its practicality. Humans have no question what season it is by glancing at a tree. One of our favorite quotes are, "Hey, let's ride down this road and check out the orange and brown leaves falling off of those trees." On the flip-side, how ridiculous would it be if said tree didn't shift with the seasons? This is the heart of man, and it's been my heart for the past few years. Every new area The Lord has taken us, we've gotten there through months of resistance. That, in its very essence, is a GRAVE offense toward a Holy God. Who am I to resist The Lord? Who am I to choose my own route? Our prayer in this first section, is that God would help us to trust Him wherever He leads us. By nature, we are enemies of Him. By nature, we are arrogant, unrepentant and unwilling to follow The Lord. Through Christ we are changed, yet our flesh still seeks to take over and make its home in our hearts!

Stay tuned for Part 2
